About VW4Vans

VW4Vans is part of the Hartshorne Group, which was founded in 1968 and is a family-owned and managed business that specialises in light and heavy commercial vehicles. In addition to holding the Volkswagen franchise for new and used vans, the Hartshorne Group is franchised to sell and provide aftermarket support for Volvo and Isuzu trucks and in all areas of its business is dedicated to building business partnerships.

Dedicated services and facilities

We were appointed as a VW Van Centre in 2002. From humble beginnings, when we were based in a couple of Portakabins, we now operate from state-of-the-art workshops, offices and showrooms covering 25,000 sq m at dedicated sites in Birmingham; Bilston, near Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.

Our policy is to invest in long-term profitable relationships and take the time to really understand – and satisfy – changing customer needs.

The complete LCV solution

VW4Vans aims to provide the complete LCV solution, which is why we have invested not only in facilities and equipment, but also personnel. Sales support is achieved via six dedicated account managers, a 12-strong employed driver delivery team and a dedicated used vehicle co-ordinator, enabling us to manage large national fleet deals and support small independent traders with the standard of customer service that can only be achieved through a local supplier.

Training for success

As you would expect, we train our staff to ensure they have a good product understanding, but we go further than that. We nurture budding talent with the aim of turning them into the future leaders of our business and every year we visit the VW factory in Germany to give our team the kind of intimate knowledge of Volkswagen new and used vans that can only be achieved by seeing them created from sheet metal!
