Volkswagen MOT
If your vehicle is 3 years old or more, it is required to pass an annual and thorough safety check commonly known as the MOT test. At any of our Midlands based van centres, we can carry out MOT’s for 4, 5 and 7 class vehicles at any of our nominated test centres.
The great thing about taking your vehicle to one of our van centres is that should we find anything wrong, one of our Volkswagen trained technicians can fix it using genuine Volkswagen parts saving you time.
As the MOT process is strictly governed by the Ministry Of Transport, we make the same checks as other approved MOT centres. However, we understand the importance of keeping your vehicle moving and aim to keep the process as simple and convenient as possible through:
- Extended opening hours including Saturdays
- Forward booking facilities based around minimum lead times
- Courtesy vehicles
- While you wait MOT testing
An MOT includes checking the fuel system, emissions, windscreen, wipers and washer bottle, seats, seatbelts, bodywork, wheels and tyres, brakes, lights and registration plate.
Our Volkswagen approved staff are fully qualified to approve your vehicle as legally roadworthy and will also try to point out issues that could arise in the future to ensure that breakdown is avoided where possible.
We can not undertake your test without your V5C Vehicle Registration Document and current MOT certificate in with you.
An MOT is not a substitute for regular service and is designed to confirm your vehicle meets the basic safety criteria on that given day.
